Overview

OctiNote is a fast, simple notes app. Notes save instantly on your device, and Hidden Notes are protected with Face ID/Passcode. No account required.

Quick Start

• New note: Tap + at top‑right
• Favorites: Star a note, then drag to reorder in Favorites
• Hidden Notes: Enable lock and protect with Face ID/Passcode

FAQ

Q. Where are my notes stored?

A. On your device only; nothing is sent to a server. Deleting the app also deletes notes.

Q. Face ID prompt doesn’t appear.

A. Check Settings › Face ID & Passcode, enroll Face ID and allow the app.

Q. I can’t unlock.

A. Biometry may be temporarily locked by iOS. Unlock the device with passcode first and try again.

Q. Sync/backup?

A. iCloud sync isn’t available yet. Use device backups if needed.

Troubleshooting

• App‑switcher privacy → Snapshot privacy is enabled by default.
• Default lock → Lock is enabled on first launch; Hidden Notes start locked.
• Search shows no results → Clear the query and try again; check spelling.

Privacy & Data

• No collection/transfer.
• Biometrics are used only to unlock Hidden Notes.
